Years in Bangkok

Words from people we have worked with

"I had been putting this off for years because every time I looked into retirement it felt either too complex or too salesy. The First Steps Guide changed that. It was calm, clear, and actually useful for someone starting from scratch. Having the printed version meant I could go through it at my own pace."

"The document coaching was not what I expected. I thought someone would go through my paperwork and tell me what to do — but that is not how it works. Niran helped me understand what I had, build a filing structure that made sense, and identify what was missing. That part was actually the most valuable. I now have a proper checklist I keep updated."

Wanida Rungsawan

Thonburi, Bangkok — June 2025

"Our HR team used the Workplace Readiness Partnership for a group of staff in their late fifties. The materials were well-structured and the facilitation notes made delivery straightforward. Staff feedback was positive — they appreciated getting information without being pushed toward any particular product or decision."

Kanokwan Tanawong

HR Manager, Bangkok — May 2025

"I asked a lot of questions before committing and they answered every one patiently. The emphasis on being informational only was exactly what I needed — I was not looking for someone to manage my money. I just needed to understand where things stood. The Guide gave me that."

AC

Apirada Chaisuwan

Silom, Bangkok — June 2025

"I attended the document coaching session not really knowing what to expect. I had three folders of papers in no particular order and a lot of uncertainty about what was current and what was not. Two sessions later, everything is indexed and I know exactly what I need to follow up on. Simple as that."

Pramote Srisuk

Lat Phrao, Bangkok — May 2025

"We were looking for a resource partner who could help us talk to staff about retirement in a neutral, non-technical way. Latermoor understood our constraints perfectly — no advice, no product placement, just solid information. The rollout plan was practical and our team felt comfortable using the materials from the first session."

Three client journeys in more detail

The challenge

A 52-year-old school administrator in Khlong Toei had never looked into retirement planning because she found all available materials either too technical or clearly designed to sell something. She wanted a simple starting point — not advice on what to do, just an explanation of how things generally work.

What she did

She purchased the First Steps Information Guide and read it over two evenings. She found the structure — which mirrors the stages most people go through — easy to follow. The official source references helped her identify where to look for her provident fund balance for the first time.

What changed

She now has a basic sense of what documents she needs, what terms mean, and where to find official information when questions arise. She contacted Latermoor three weeks later to enquire about a document coaching session.

"I did not expect to feel less anxious after reading a booklet about retirement. But it turned out most of my anxiety was about not knowing where to begin."

The challenge

A 58-year-old logistics manager in Bangkapi had worked for four different employers over his career. His retirement-related documents were spread across two cardboard boxes, two email accounts, and a folder he had not opened in years. He was not sure what was current, what was outdated, or what he was missing.

What he did

He booked two document coaching sessions with Niran at the Latermoor office. Over the two sessions they sorted, labelled, and indexed everything. Niran helped him understand what each document type was without advising on its value or what to do with it.

What changed

He left with a complete document index, a checklist showing three items still to retrieve, and a clear sense of what he had. He subsequently made contact with his former employers' HR teams to recover two documents flagged as missing.

"Niran never told me what to do. He helped me understand what I had in front of me. That was all I needed someone to do."

The challenge

A Bangkok-based manufacturing company with 160 staff had noticed rising anxiety around retirement among employees in their late fifties. Their HR team wanted to provide information support but did not have the expertise or the time to develop materials from scratch, and was cautious about touching anything that could be interpreted as financial advice.

What they did

They commissioned the Workplace Readiness Partnership. Materials were developed over four weeks with input from the HR lead. The rollout plan staged delivery across three departments over two months, using the facilitation notes provided.

What changed

Staff feedback from a post-session survey indicated 78% felt more confident about knowing where to find retirement information. No complaints were received about the content. The HR team flagged the three-month review session as particularly helpful for addressing questions that had emerged after initial delivery.

"The materials were exactly what we needed — factual, neutral, and practical. Our team could deliver them confidently."
